Headache’s Master Class Mexico IHS-AMCEMIG 2023

Headache’s Master Class
Mexico IHS-AMCEMIG 2023

WELCOME TO THE MASTER CLASS COURSE

Dear colleague, we welcome you to our Master Class Course. This course was born from the idea of improving education and the level of care for headaches in Mexico. Due to the lack of high specialty courses, to attend the most frequent symptom that every doctor sees, we have started this adventure. First it was just the idea, to make it a reality was to combine our enthusiasm with the solidarity and support of the IHS that has facilitated us to make this course and with the need to have an Academic Endorsement in our country we requested the support of the Faculty of Medicine of the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosi.

The many hours of study involved in participating in this program will be strengthened with a classroom course where you will have the opportunity to interact with the most prestigious specialists in Headache in the world and learn the pearls of basic and clinical knowledge to be applied in practice.

We are certain that this will be a great experience and we are infinitely grateful for your participation, enthusiasm, study and interaction, to make this event a course worthy of the IHS, the Faculty of Medicine of the UASLP and AMCEMIG.

Sincerely yours,

BOARD OF AMCEMIG

Introduction

The Mexican Association of Headaches and Migraines (AMCEMIG), as part of its commitment to continuous quality medical care in training and updating headaches, announces the program for the Master Class of Headaches.
The Master Class of Headache is an academic proposal endorsed by the International Headache Society (IHS) to train the neurology specialist in the diagnosis, approach and specialized treatment of headaches.

After the learning of the Headache’s Master Class, the students should be able to adequately integrate data from specific headache cases to make an adequate clinical correlation leading to a diagnosis, approach, prognosis and specialized treatment, and create headache specialists with up to date knowledge in America. Obtain your “Headache Specialist” certificate, granted by the Mexican Association of Headaches and Migraines (AMCEMIG), the International Headache Society (IHS) and the Faculty of Medicine of the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí (UASLP).
